Moving of goods from one location to the new one is not an easy job. It is one of the most problematic and chaotic task that need lot of care and dedication to make it hassle free, smooth and easier. Lots of people often hesitate to move to new location looking at the difficult task of packing and moving. They hesitate to take the burden on their shoulder of moving their valuable goods to new location in a safe and secure way, because most of them do not have the idea of packing and shifting of…

The pressure of writing a dissertation is most monstrous and unimaginable. Due to inability to handle the ginormous task on their own and deadly threatening time constraint, many people decide to buy a dissertation.
It is neither an easy task to decide where to
buy dissertation from nor ask for an advice on it. Judgmental as advisors may be, they regard buying dissertation online unethical which is entirely a…

I am doing my MBA from Ireland in international business. I have worked with construction industry for couple of years including a stint in gulf area and I needed to submit my dissertation this semester. I have a special interest in business development and wanted some suggestions for
dissertations titles specifically focusing the Ireland industry. I was browsing through the website when I found this dissertation help website p…

Dear fellow Webheads!
I guess I've been on the mailing list on Yahoogroups for the past six years or so but I never really felt the urge to contribute. I kept lurking just hearing the experiences of various Webheads doing this and that with technology. I really felt I lagged behind.
Now it suddenly dawns upon me that it feels GREAT to be a Webhead. It just feels good to interact with such an inspiring and dedicated community. I'm not sure what happened. I guess it has to do with a newly adopte…

My WiAOC sidekick Aiden has uploaded my PPT to

Many thanks to Aiden for the upload, and especially for uploading my presentation to Elluminate, which I was (still am) unable to do for some weird reason.

Today is Tuesday, May 26. Over the three days of WiAOC (74 hours), I attended 38 sessions (17 in Second Life), logged three hours on the helpdesk at Tapped In, facilitated my first session in Elluminate, and hosted a memorable discussion on finding balance in our lives at Tapped In. I got up at 6:00 on Friday, 5:00 on Saturday, and 3:00 on Sunday to attend sessions. I multi-tasked (more or less successfully). I listened, I watched, I chatted, I talked, I typed on Elluminate whiteboards, I tried…

As I'll detail tonight , WIAOC09 for me will be more of a reflective brain dump and reflection point than anything specifically related to a work role or anything similar.
Here's the link - http://www.slideshare.net/alexanderhayes/2009-wiaoc
I'm balancing too many things at the moment but at least I've finally got the presentation into some shape before I head down to Sydney which is a four hour drive away.
Seemingly people are finding things through my Twitter account and likewise hopefully…

It's kind of hard to separate the days here... Day 2 actually began last night for me. I got up at 5 a.m. on May 22, my first day of summer vacation. And between 5 a.m. and 8 pm I was at my screen for 13 hours (must be a personal record). I took an hour break to take a walk with my husband, another one to make lentil soup and grab a bite of lunch, and a 3rd to let my impatient daughter use the computer for a while (she is more addicted than I am if possible but does not control her own screen ti…

Jane Petring and I are planning to propose a discussion on this topic for TESOL2010. We'd like to include any trends we discover. Put in your 2 cents: Fill out this anonymous
survey about computer guilt! You can complete the survey whether or not you attend Sunday's conversation on striking a balance between online and offline life, but please, do it only once. Thanks! See you Sunday.

It's 10:26 p.m. here and I've been up since about 6:00 a.m. It was my last day for this semester and I attended a long meeting in the morning, went to lunch with my colleagues, wrote up the minutes to the meeting, attended a synchronous session in Second Life for the Sloan Consortium workshop I've been taking ("Getting Started in second Life"), and rushed over to the Comcast Center (U of Maryland basketball arena) to work as a volunteer during Commencement exercises. Got home at 9:30 p.m. and I…

When I last posted, I was trying to decide which virtual classroom would best suit my needs for this conversation on achieving (or maintaining) a healthy balance between our online lives and our "real" lives. (I put "real" in quotation marks because for webheads, the friendships we have forged with colleagues around the globe are very real indeed!) I assumed that a venue which permitted vocal interaction was necessary. After trying out Elluminate one day with Maru, I began to rethink that assump…

I don't consider this session to be a presentation. In other words, I don't see myself as having anything to teach anyone else. I struggle with the issue of balance; my husband complains that I spend too much time online; I find myself doing online jigsaw puzzles, updating my Facebook page, or writing in this blog when I should be writing a quiz, grading essays, or cleaning out my files. I want to explore new tools; I want to interact more frequently with other webheads and their students around…
